This presentation workshop is suitable for students who want to improve their skills through both theory and practice. The workshop offers a dozen different tools and ideas to consider when designing and delivering any presentation. Participants have the chance to work on and improve their existing presentations with live feedback from fellow participants and the workshop leader.

In this workshop we will discuss and practice the following themes:

  • Building confidence
  • Story Telling
  • Creating a Headline
  • Elevator Pitch
  • Body Language
  • Finding your Voice
  • Positivity
  • Hero & Villain
  • Questions and Answers
  • Learner Type
  • Audience Culture

After participation students will be able ...

  • To confidently deliver 5-minute presentation, holding audience’s attention throughout their delivery
  • To be able to give 120 second elevator pitches
  • To answer questions on a given presentation in a confident manner

This workshop will be held in person on campus. You will be informed of the exact location ahead of time. Please not that the in person setting might be subject to change depending on the current situation.

Requirements and Accreditation:

English-Level: B1/B2  or upper intermediate

The workshops of the Frankfurt Academic Key Competencies Training (Frankfurter Akademischen Schlüsselkompetenz-Training) can be accredited for the optional module of some majors. The participants get a certificate of participation that can be presented to the person responsible for accreditation in their major.
