When asked, most people will instinctively say ‘I’m bad at time management’. But what do we actually mean when we talk about ‘time management’ and how is it related to studying productively and successfully? In this workshop you will have the opportunity to reflect your own weekly time account (hint: you’re not as bad at managing your time as you may think) and learn about strategies for improving your time management effectively. We will focus on your individual goals and problems so that you will leave feeling equipped to deal with challenges that may arise during your studies. Topics discussed include how to plan days, weeks as well as bigger projects, how to set specific goals and how to maximize both your motivation and productivity by incorporating breaks into your work flow.
Aims:
After successfully completing this workshop participants will be able to ...
- reflect their own time management strategies and habits.
- recognize patterns of distracting behavior.
- formulate SMART goals.
- plan smaller and bigger projects by using the GANTT-Chart.
