This workshop will be held in English. We will discuss how to plan, structure and organize power point presentations. Some tips will be given on how to streamline the process to make it faster and easier. Lastly you will also be given a few tips on how to deliver your presentations. If students have any current presentations for classes, they are welcome to bring them to this workshop. The workshop will consist of a mixture of individual tasks, working in groups and group discussions. Participants are required to turn on their webcams and microphones, as it encourages collaborative exchange between students.

Aims:

After successful attendance, the participants will be able to...

• plan a power point presentation,
• create a structuring “template” for future presentations,
• organize and format information to create uniform slides,
• get tips to help with delivering presentations.

Note for participants:

This workshop will take place over Zoom. The access link will be sent to you one day before the workshop, to the student email address you registered with. Sending to another email address is not possible. Please allow enough time before the workshop begins to dial into the meeting so that we can start on time.

Requirements and Accreditation:

English-Level: B1/B2  or upper intermediate

The workshops of the 'Schlüsselkompetenzen' can be accredited for the optional module of some majors. The participants get a certificate of participation that can be presented to the person responsible for accreditation in their major.
