After reviewing features of academic English, notably the S-V-O sentence pattern, as well as scientific standards and a useful text model, teams formulate a research question, create a questionnaire and use it to collect data from members of the university community. After analyzing their data, teams report on their results using an empirical report format. Language and style resources as well as direct correction are provided.

Requirements and Accreditation
English-Level: B1/B2 or upper intermediate
The workshops of the Frankfurt Academic Key Competencies Training (Frankfurter Akademischen Schlüsselkompetenz-Training) can be accredited for the optional module of some majors. The participants get a certificate of participation that can be presented to the person responsible for accreditation in their major.
